Another target hanger idea........

Couple blocks up our street is the city soccer complex and we walk by there on our daily walks. For couple weeks I had noticed some new soccer goal frames and nets being put up and saw a couple of the old junior sized ones sitting in the woods off to the side. Got to thinking that one of those would make a great frame to hang targets from for my range. Called up the Rec&Parks dept. and the guy said yes they would be throwing the old ones out and he would save one for me.
Well this morning I see one of the crew setting up some of the goals for this weekend and talked with him about getting one of the old ones. He said I would be lucky to get one since they needed 6 more of the junior sized one and may have to use the old units. Said check back later and if I see one up by the consession building it was mine. Wife and I came back by after shopping and there one was and went back and grabbed it.
Looks like it will work well for what I want! It is 6 ft. long and the tall side about 48 inches tall and 1 1/2 inch steel tube

Good deal. If you're not going to move it around a lot you can get some landscape staples to hold it down.

Good find. That will make a great stand for hanging and swinging targets. I'm sure you will put it to good use.
