What's for dinner?

Post by cooperhawk » Sat Dec 10, 2022 10:13 am

While at Costco yesterday we noted they had Dungeness Crab on sale so we got a package of separated body and legs.
Last evening it was steamed crab with drawn butter accompanied by baked potatoes with butter and sour cream. Add some
candied carrots and peppers and it was a feast.πŸ˜‹

The thing was the crab was only $35.00 and it was almost more than we could eat. If we had gone out for dinner it
would have cost a lot more.πŸ‘

Of course Carol sipped her home made Cabernet while I washed it down with a Hamm's Beer.
Then of course it was time for my recliner and a Martini.😁

Life is good if you work on it just a little bit.😊

Nice, Coop.
Yesterday morn, I put a roast in the crockpot with taters, carrots, and one onion, a package of Lipton soup mix and one can of golden onion soup.
Number grandson's request, the wife fixed up some green beans and made biscuts.
They both had sweet tea and I of course had a Black & Tan. ;) :D

About an hour later, the Nerf gun war started.
Was a good evening.
