I've only made a couple other pies and that was years ago. But I can read a recipe, which I've been doing a lot since my wife passed away last year. I can't afford restaurants these days. So it's either TV dinners, take out, or learn to cook for one.
My condolences on your wife's passing my friend. I was single for seventeen years raising two boys on my
own and I had to learn to cook. I found that I loved to cook for myself and them. I had some hard times
but got through them eating well. My boys and I hardly ever ate out, but we ate well at home. They both
learned to cook and to this day they still do, (much to their wive's dismay I guess).
