Don't seem to be down much here. Just paid $24 for a bundle of 2x4 shims. They were around $7 a couple of years ago. Had a couple of small carpentry projects I wanted to do but decided to wait until next year.

Lumber cost wasn't to bad. The 2x6x8 boards were little over 6 buck$ each which I needed 3 and the stair risers 16 bucks each.

Re: Stepway to heaven today.....
Very nice. I need to put a bridge across our creek in several locations on the property. Tina kept telling me that we do just fine with the Ranger, or can go around where the banks are too steep. The flooding last year would have taken out all my proposed bridges. I told her they didn't call it the Fifty Year Flood for nothing. You did a great job on that one. I would need mine to be a bit wider to drive the ranger/tractor across.

I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

Fun how all those fifty-year floods happen every 3 to 4 years when not having a 100-year flood . . .BrokenolMarine wrote: ↑Sun Oct 31, 2021 8:35 amVery nice.
