Just received the last of my lever trilogy rifles. An 1894 in .44rem magnum.
Cleaned and "slinged". I'll try it out this weekend.

It's a new vintage. Built in early 2019.

I'm going out tomorrow (Sunday) to try it out. And yes, I'll shoot the same load as my BBS.

Well, I don't mind the cross bolt safety.

Neither do I.
Had one before on my previously owned Winchester Trapper.

Thank you. My "trilogy" as I call it, is just having three levers. A Henry, Winchester, and now a Marlin.

10-4 .... I hadn't thought of it that way but we have a Trilogy as well .... ours is a Browning, Winchester and Henry ...

Those are nice trilogies. Although, I am not familiar with Browning. However, there lots of brands that I am not familiar with. I thought about and handled a Winchester, but I did not want third 30-30. Yet, I do have a 2019 1894C that I enjoy shooting. Than again, I enjoy shooting all my lever actions. But, the ammo for the 1894C is a bit cheaper, which is one of the reasons that I bought it. Nevertheless, I shoot them all as often as I can. Happy shooting!
