I've owned one for most of my adult life, and
have taken more deer with it any other caliber.
Of course, it was my only CF for many years.
Now at this moment I have 5.
How about some of y'all?
Gonna drag mine out for a picture for y'all.

For some reason the models with the 'nose cap' on the forestock as opposed to those with barrel bands are larger and fatter.Likin' those skinny Marlins also. The newer ones seem to have a beer belly!

You mostly see them on the ones from the 50's through the late 60's.Mistered wrote: ↑Mon Jul 15, 2019 2:59 pmFor some reason the models with the 'nose cap' on the forestock as opposed to those with barrel bands are larger and fatter.Likin' those skinny Marlins also. I saw one recently at a gun show where the forestock was so large it looked out of place on the rifle.
