Time to work on my own

Since I am now finished the 39A "Squirrel rifle" it is time for my own projects to get done. I have a couple nice sets of Marlin wood to go on some standard model 39A's to dress them up a bit. I had one set started on while I was working on the 39A of my friends but not keeping up with getting it ready to be fitted on one of my 39A's. They will both look good as they have nice grain and checkering. The wood was from what was left over from when they built the 1897 Century Limited in 1997. Here is a picture of the one I have been working with occasionally and the other in front that I will start on shortly. The one in front will most likely have the best looking wood when finished. :D

Yes, please do let us follow along on these beautiful wood projects of yours. Honestly, if I had wood like that on any Marlin 39, I could never sell it.

Shoot, with wood like that, it would be hard to use it - might get a scratch ;) . "of course, I'm kinda a fan of pretty wood.
