Didn't you once have a 73 you were never happy with?
They're beautiful rifles. Even the pistol grip models have a great look.

Re: Weakening quickly....
"Weighing' my options now. Do I Sell my:
1899 Winchester 'Klondike' sporting rifle Acquired at a very good deal (trade + cash) always wanted a 'vintage' Winchester, I shoot it occasionally but it sits around a lot. Probably close in covering the cost of the 1873.
My 1968 'Buffalo Bill' Commemorative. 20" 30-30. Got this about ten years ago when I wanted to get 'back' into lever guns (and a 30-30 and wanted something different) good shooter - used to shoot it a lot.
My 1966 100 year Commemorative 26" rifle. Probably my most shot Winchester now since I got it to cycle properly. Got the sights set up perfectly and it shoots VERY accurately.
My BBB Henry. Love the Henry - no complaints and shoot it often. Problem is if I get the 1873 it may rarely get shot anymore.
Do NOTHING, ride out my impulsive urges and keep what i have and shoot them all more.
