R95 gets a face-lift

Post by Vaquero » Sat Sep 12, 2026 1:56 pm

8-) The factory furniture is nothing fancy, not that I'm a fancy kinda guy by any means.

I checked when I first brought it home and swapped a Marlin buttstock and it was a perfect fit. So it's be mulling around inside my little pea brain about finding a set. Came across these at a very good price, but it wasn't what I had in mine.

But, I think it looks better than I expected. Definitely different.

Well, the face-lift is not bad. Yet, the original is not bad either. But, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. However, I am leaning toward the original. Nevertheless, I am not the owner. If you are happy, all is well!!

I lean toward original as well. Enjoy whichever you decide.

Thank you both for your input. I think a nice walnut would look better and what I was interested in. I'm going to leave it for now. May come across a deal on something more nostalgic. Shouldn't be hard to recoup my investment in these should I desire.

I prefer the looks of the original wood stock, too.
