Ruger LC Carbine 45 ACP.....

Post by fortyshooter » Tue Dec 16, 2025 10:24 am

Yep...I been a good boy and worked hard this year so ol' Santa found one of these for me for Christmas! I was looking around on Bud's Guns last week and saw they had the 45 ACP version on sale for $568.00 and just could not let that deal slip away! Have looked at these on and off since the 45 caliber one came out but then tried to justify it at 800 bucks at the time since I had my HiPoint Bullpup setup. Sold a couple things lately including my Marlin 1895 GS I have had for some years and got more than I had in it so went ahead and grabbed a Ruger LC.
Ordered a couple extra mags for it and depending on how I like it will most likely sell the HiPoint 45 ACP Carbine to make room for it. Will use the EoTech sight I had on the HiPoint after seeing how well the factory sights work. Looks like a well thought out carbine from reviews I have seen and let the wait begin especially over the Christmas holidays. Stay tuned for some range fun weather permitting soon!

Note the price went up a bit since I placed order but still a good deal.

Not surprised you’re on Santa’s nice list. Congrats on the new carbine.

I have been somewhat interested in Henry's 9mm semi-auto carbine but not seriously enough to pursue it.

But, if I find a killer deal.....

I looked at that too but the 45 made more sense since I have couple of pistols in that caliber and 45 ACP is very quiet with the can on it.

Congrats on the LC. Mine has been doing very well as far as accuracy and function. The only complaint is the trigger could stand to be a couple pounds lighter. I'm sure there is an after market trigger out there by now but I haven't pursued it yet.

Yes there is a trigger kit for it and I will see how mine shoots first.

Pretty cool carbine.
I like the wood and blue of the Henry. For some reason, I don't think it's available in NY.
