Al.
I'm at nearly 500 rounds so far with my LC .45ACP and it's been flawless and yes....I'd buy it again. I put a Burris FF3 3 minute reddot on it which co-witnesses exactly with the irons and it makes some tidy little clusters on the 50 yard plates.
My self imposed gun buying rule is "No new calibers" but if a 10mm showed up at the local shop.......

I assume you put a riser under the FF3. to be able to cowitness. If you were not doing that what height would you need to be able to just use the dot ? No problem on the caliber rule at my place. Already have 10 45 40 and the square deal dies to crank them out.

Photos appreciated and Im still on the fence as to what I might do. Since 9mm is so cheap I may add another 9 to the safe

Henry Homesteader ? When they first came out I didn’t care for them at all. But now they have kind of grown on me and my local gun store has one and they haven’t been able to sell it.

5shot, that’s a fine looking pair you have there and I agree with Al, the Homesteader is one fine looking carbine. Something about that wood stock…

Stopped by my LGS and they had a LC Carbine in 45 ACP in stock. Asked to see and handle it and compare to my Hi Point Bullpup setup. The Ruger LC feels like a quality carbine and weight is about the same but my Bullpup has much less barrel length to deal with if in tight areas and of course shorter with the suppressor attached than the Ruger LC. Shop was asking 799 for the new LC and not a bad price at all for a 45 Carbine. Great point of the LC is the use of Glock double stack magazines.

Nice looking bullpup, and well kitted out.

Not sure if OAL is that much different if the LC stock is folded or removed: 24" with muzzle brake installed.

Hey 5shot
Does the Henry see more range time than the Ruger or is it a 50/50 deal?
