Grand dads old Winchester!

Post by nomofish » Wed Sep 14, 2016 11:50 pm

My G-Dad left me his older model 64 Winchester Lever action. I killed my first deer with it, my son killed his first deer with it, his son killed his first deer with it and now my great G-daughter is going to use it this year.
Looks just like this one.

Always nice to have a great old firearm that was passed down and still be able to hunt with it. Thanks for your post!

Great heritage and tradition being passed along. Hope your great G-daughter adds to the deer harvest stories this year! :)

Beautiful rifle with a long family tradition. It's always special to read stories like yours. Thanks.

That rifle has a value that far exceeds any monetary worth. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I have my dad's Colt .22 that was the first gun I ever shot.

I made sure that it was the first gun my daughter shot. Of course, after she tried my Ruger Mark I target, the Colt has stayed in the safe.

And then the Henry came along.

Sweet! I love seeing these beautiful family heirloom firearms. I pray that your family continues to pass your Grand Dads legacy to many more generations.
