My Remington's

These are my three Remington rifles I got in the last year. The one with the odd looking stock is a Rem. Model 540-XR. It has a fixed 12X Leupold. The light colored stock rifle is a Rem. Mod. 540-X. It has a fixed 16X Leupold which is a scope not seen real often. These are both fine shooting single shot rifles with very light triggers and actions known for their very fast lock time. I shoot these quite often because I like how well they lay on the bags and the accuracy they have. The sporter rifle is a Rem Model 541-S I bought from my daughter. I shot it yesterday after swapping the scope to a 3-9X33 Leupold Compact AO. I was really impressed with it not having any tuning done on it yet other than the trigger at 9 ounces. I still love my Remington's from the years back. The 541-S was made in 1976. The 540-X was from 1969 and the 540 XR was built in 1980.

No offense intended. Just a little funnin'. I remembered that you usually post his pics. I had to upgrade my old flip phone a couple of months ago. I'm still reading "Androids for Dummies". I'll post some of my ghost guns then.

I thought bandit lost all his firearms in a boating accident. Nice looking!

By seeing all the empty spaces in my safes one would believe I had more than one boating accident full of my rifles. I really think I may be better off without the ones I was just not taking time to shoot. I am having more fun seeing how much accuracy I can squeeze out of my rifles with the factory barrels and just cost free tuning. Nothing but time, patience and ammo. Plus added range time. The Remington's and the CZ's are fun and easy to fool around with and some show substantial improvements in accuracy. No stock pillars and glass bedding have been done and will definitely not be done on any of the CZ Grand Finales that would really kill the value on them. So far I don't see them needing that done to them.

With you all the way, bandit. I've never felt the need to do other than basic trigger tuning on any of our CZs or Remingtons when we had them.
