Re: Cimmaron
I have a 92 Rossi clone in 38/357 and know what you mean. If you cycle it to fast or too slow or have it at a cant you have chambering issues. So far all my Henrys are rimfire and I don't have any issue with them. But as this forum grows I'm noticing the centerfire rifles are taking over. Cimmaron and Uberti makes nice looking firearms but Rossi's aren't much to look at. I think Henrys are beautiful in style and material and are Made in the U.S.A.

Re: Cimmaron
My 44-40 Rossi was smooth as glass with a bottle neck brass and shot it for 16 yrs in SASS /CAS matches without a jam or miss fire and I used for deer hunting in Tn . I don't remember ever shooting the 44-40 on paper target since it was a steel target shooter . The other Rossi in the other the pictured is a 357 / 38 and I got a super deal on it . These are the only 2 targets I shot with this gun I remember in the 3 weeks I owed it . It was super accurate and it work great , but in rapid fire the straight wall try to jam and jerk the front sight off the target and enlarging the chamber would be need . I owed the 73 Beretta / Uberti clone in 357 /38 at the same time and it love straight wall brass and you could hardly tell if you were cycling a loaded or empty action and the front sight never came off target like my 44-40 Rossi .... I hope this makes sense .
