Beware! Don't do as I did... grab the pump too close to the hammer and pump it.

And don't put your eye too close to the scope on a high powered rifle. DAMHIKT

Man, my face ate a cheap Simmons scope on a 300 win mag last summer. My friend owned the rifle and offered to let me shoot it. The scope was not mounted correctly. I bet the fun factor shooting the pump helped ease the pain of that boo boo.
