Any more Long Rangers in the house?

Post by ditto1958 » Mon Feb 20, 2017 8:58 pm

Okay folks, are any of y'all buying Long Ranger rifles yet? I'm anxious to read some reviews and range reports.

This IS, after all, the Henry Forum. It seems reasonable to expect members to be buying Henry rifles. :)

We thought that those that brought this forum into being would show the rest of us the way by getting any of the new H.R.A. rifles as they come to be available .

I've got two of them. One in 308, the other in 223. Haven't had much of a chance to shoot them, other than function testing, due to weather. The range I use has been inaccessible, first due to snow, then due to some flooding, since mid-December.

The 308 on top has a 4-12x40 Nikon P308 scope. The 223 has a Vortex 3-9x40 Crossfire II.
Just noticed today when taking these pictures that the 308 doesn't have any markings on the barrel.

Welcome to the forum, Chris.

Would LOVE to hear how that 223 version shoots for you. That one is very high on my list of lever guns to get. Report when you can.
