Turkey Hunting In Minnisota

Post by CT_Shooter » Thu Nov 07, 2024 10:50 am

I wish I had been a hunter. I came to the shooting sports quite late in life and, even though I have a CT Firearms Hunting License, my old, aching back hasn't allowed me that privilege and very likely never will.

So, with that in mind, I really enjoyed reading this article this morning. Hope you do, too.

Enjoyed the article. Thanks.

We have lots of turkeys up here in the north woods of Wisconsin. See them all the time, even right here in our yard, now and then. A biologist I talked to once told me that they weren't sure if turkeys could survive up here in our north woods winters, back when they were introduced up here, but not only have they survived, they are doing great. They are one tough bird, for sure.
