The handles came in late this afternoon. While was waiting, I got the cutting board top attached. Slow but sure, measure, check, measure, check. Still waiting for the handles, I modified something on my storage cabinet I built ten years ago, that I was never happy with. Nope, still no UPS.
I had half a bucket of mixed screws, nuts, bolts, and assorted hardware... Years of someone tossing leftovers into that bin rather than putting them away. (She shall remain nameless.) In addition, I would toss extra hardware from kits in the bucket. (Often kits come with two lengths of bolts, I save the extras, you never know.) We also remove hardware that is still good if we disassemble...

I spent a couple hours sorting that bucket while listening to the radio, and waiting.
ups finally arrived during dinner. No worries. I still got the handles and hinges installed. The project is done, and installed in the kitchen. I took pictures of the time and care taken for these final steps, but they won't get posted until tomorrow... Pain levels, but I wanted to see this thing...

Needless to say, the boss is pleased.
