Plinkin in da rain...

Post by Vaquero » Sat Sep 06, 2025 6:01 pm

Most of the morning was off and on with some sprinkles. The wife was off to town on some errands and I decided to slap the big gong some.

I had the long barrel 357 Rossi and short Win. 94 and the Ruger Vaquero all in 3 5 7.
Yes, even from the deck the large gong was easy with the little 4 5/8" barrel.
I also ran a handful through each of the short barreled t-4's. Big difference, lol. Even with heavy cast and 2 different pistol powders they swing it pretty good.
Those 180gr pugnose do pretty good, but not like 260 or 320ish stuff. ;)

I then deprimed the brass and the 444's and some others already deprimed along with a few 45acp and some 44's the ss pin bath, and are all nice and shiny again drying in the sunshine. ;)

Oh yea, when I walked down to get a gong pic. I picked up about 3/4's of a lb of lead. :D

Just some 22 shooting for me, the usual stuff.

Love those lever guns.

Love the plant shelves doubling as a rifle rack. Sheer genius.
