Greetings from Northern Virginia
Long time lurker and decided to pull the trigger on joining. Several Henry lever actions in my stable and recently acquired the H015B-12 in brass. Chambered up to 3.5 inch shotshell and could be a bear to shoot. Comes adorned with a brass buttplate.
Hunting and fishing when I can. Mostly work. Besides firearms, collect pocket watches, knives, and whiskey (single barrel, hi-proof stuff only).
Other than that, not a whole lot else going on.

I think you're right about your new Henry, that's gonna let you know when you shoot it. I have a single barrel 12 gauge that I cut down and used with slugs back before NJ allowed rifled barrels, and while that shot well and you almost didn't feel it when taking a shot at a deer, sighting in was a kind of torture. Knowing that I'd need to shoot a lot of different slugs to see which would do better in this little shotgun, I went through almost a dozen different kinds, and I don't want to do that ever again.
Collecting pocket watches, huh? Cool! My grandfather was an engineer for the Eire Lackawanna Railroad, and I know that his pocket watch is with someone in the family, not sure who but I know it's not me. I had a Mickey Mouse pocket watch for a while back in the late 70s-early 80s, that's gone now too.
Pretty neat that we all have common interests that bring us here, and then we find that we also have a pretty long list of other interests that overlap and dovetail with each other's interests as well.

Welcome to the forum. My Dad was into watches as his father was a watch maker. I have a couple he shared with me.
