Can you find and swap in a notched insert? I would have it in the mill and give it a straight wide notch so you have some light around the front dot sight to easily center it up.

I found a possible sight blade at Brownells that’s is only around 7 bucks. I think I’ll order it and see if it will work. Says it’s for the New Model Single Six so should work.

$10 for the sight blade and another $10 for shipping. For an item that weights a few grams. Robbery!

Well it’s ordered, grrrrrrr. I removed the original blade to compare to this replacement blade and it looks exactly the same. Better than $60 for the Williams sight set but the fire dot on the Williams would have been helpful to these old eyes. :lol:
