Bought a 1851 pietta (44 cal.) Navy colt. Its currently creeping this way through the mail.
I am planning on getting a kurst conversion cylinder so it will shoot 45 long colt cowboy loads. ..... so, i guess you could say... the plot thickens.!.... well, after all, my birthday is this month..... whats a man to do when the itch needs scratching but dig in and go for it??
Spring has sprung. Get out and shoot your Henry

Steel or brass frame? Congrats! For my 1858 Remington I found a great use for an old box of Speer 200 gr. soft lead bullets .452 diameter.
They have a bullet lube coating and work perfectly for 45 Colt Cowboy plinking with 5.5 gr. Red Dot using conversion cylinder.
