Automatic Rollup Garage Door Opener

My new garage has 10x10’ rollup doors and I’m wondering what kind of electric door opener I should get. I’m really not familiar with these kinds of doors.

Any suggestions?

Chamberlain and lift master are made by same people. Spring type is critical too. Just had mine switched to torsion spring from side coils along with new tracks and doors. Torsions will give you 10K cycles. Had side coils for 28 years and replaced 4 sets of springs.One let go about 5 years ago and almost took my ear off. Had safety cable but old style single loop end which flew off and stuck in sheet rock. Torsions are much quieter too.Size of your doors may warrant commercial grade lifts which I have no experience with. Check with reputable installer.

My doors are rollup as in a roll and not in panels. They don’t have rollup tracks. They seem very straightforward.
