The orange thingy came off the rod and now stuck in the tube. Also, while clearing the rifle the action is now stuck open. It is my favorite .22. What to do, short of sending to Mr. Henry?

Re: loading tube probs
The orange thingy is a follower and shouldn’t be stuck very hard. I’m thinking gently insert a straight coat hanger and it should easily come out. The H001 is easy to take apart and put Bach together to clear the jam.

No luck with cleaning rod (not hanger). Not sure what I was supposed to do with it other than sticking it down the tube. Will work on clearing the jam when it gets warmer and I can work on the porch. Looked at a maintenance video on Henry's web site . Doesn't look to complicated. What's the worst could Happen? If I can't put it back together I will send it to Henry and yell for help.
