I saw one the other day too. It’s just not my cup of tea. I like levers, bolts and pumps.
Me too, in calibers that start with 10mm and go to Win 458 magnum........Other than a machine gun I see no need for a 9mm "peashooter" rifle.
My friend in Alaska has a STEN and it’s a blast to shoot.

My Homesteader came with a Glock magwell which I left in the box. I recently happened on a few high cap Glock magazines and since the rifle was due for a good cleaning anyway I installed the magwell. Function has been perfect and the little carbine makes it easy to go through a lot of ammo quickly on our 50 yard plate rack. It's actually quite "Tactical" without frightening the unwashed with its appearance. :D

I recently took a bunch of different 9mm handloads to the range along with a 5" Springfield Range Officer 1911 and the Homesteader. The chronograph was a Garmin and the results were interesting. The carbine gained about 120 to close to 200 fps velocity over the pistol depending on the load. With 124 XTP's approaching 1400 fps and 147 gr. XTP's and also 147 powder coated cast bullets clocking 1150 fps the little 9mm is not a grizzly bear gun but not really a pop gun either. And....as a range toy it's ALMOST as much fun as a .357 lever...ALMOST. :D

Have seen and handled the Homesteader. Going back and forth on it against a Ruger PCC. The price on the glock magwel model is more than I want to pay. I do tend to like the Henry a little better with the walnut stock. I certainly like my lever action Henry, but not sure if I really want or need a 9mm carbine. No rush to go get anything new right now....
