I went on YouTube and seen a new vid, dated 14 June, 2022, from Henry about their US Survival AR-7 rifle. At 2:26 into the vid, you can get a pretty good view of the mag. It looks to me like Henry has taken off that wire clip that held the rounds down to prevent failure-to-feed. Check out the vid here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8SRxBX1_brE

I'm pretty sure HRA started adding that wire clip about the time they moved to Rice Lake.

Also, I see that the young fella in the vid is shooting ammunition that most hold in somewhat low regard, and doesn't have any failures.

Has HRA done some more changing without telling us?

I believe the magazine still has the wire. The wire is on the left side of the magazine body and if you stop the video at 2:43 it appears to be there. A little out of focus.
