Pavers

Finally got the paver path installed yesterday. We have an area in the backyard we want to keep the dogs off and had some temporary fencing in place to do this. I replaced the ugly fencing with an electric “hidden fence” (wire buried in the ground) and the dogs wear a receiving collar which will first give a warning tone and if they get closer it will deliver a shock.

The temp fencing had been in place for a few months so the dogs are pretty well conditioned to walk around the area we want them off of. But my wife decided that they needed a marked path to follow to remind them of the route they are supposed to take to the part of the yard that’s for them. She had no problem with me having to lift and place all those heavy pavers. Anything for the dogs she says.

The red flags are to remind and train the dogs to stay behind the “line”. So far so good.

Very nice job. I'm lucky with a farm wife, she'd lay the pavers herself, then complain about how much work it was, and move on to another project. She has never been able to sit idle. :D

The yard does look great.

Thanks all, so far the dogs are doing great and taking the path to their part of the yard. Don’t tell my wife I said so as I told her the path wasn’t necessary.
