I was at a neighbors shed today running the motor home. I parked it there because it’s on a busy highway and it’s got a for sale sign on it.

A guy stops to ask about it and we started talking engines and he mentions a guy named Dennis. I said Dennis hauled my old Allis to my place and he knew where I lived from the description. Then he asked if I bought Larry’s old tractor because the shed was where the tractor was stored. I said yes and he told me he rebuilt it about three years ago. Small world.

He said it will run forever and the reason it wouldn’t start is because the gas is bad and the points are corroded.

Anyway the reason I’m posting is to show my new hat.

Gene, it's so nice that you are fitting right in. I love the hat. Get some good gas and touch up the points or get new ones.

Do you have antique tractor shows around? Maybe if you paint it and get it running, you could keep it displayed, then when tractor shows or old farm day events happen, you could attend and drive it in parades. But if you like me, you may not have a way to haul it.

Really like the tracks. I think you should get it running if it was already rebuilt, should be a good asset to have. I might have tractor envy.

Lots of shows and every hamlet of 50 has a parade. I don’t have time to work on it this year.

Almost everyone here has an old tractor or farm equipment on display. It was rebuilt 20 years ago according to the last owner. At first I didn’t think I could get parts but have found I can get everything for it. They are known to be bullet proof and last forever.
