Good morning, 60° here and windy, headed towards the low 70's. We made it to 77 yesterday, and I didn't dent or ding any steel. But,
I did put a few holes in some paper and plywood. ;)
Scope is zeroed at 55 yds., and I made no adjustments. The load on the left is one ragged hole at 55yds. Hmm!
Now the H4198 load I hadn't even tried before, it was a load of another member over on the MO site.
It's a few grs under max so I just tried it. :o
The Hdy ftx load is pretty tight at 55yds also.

Need to redo my portable target holder, so I just leaned the plywood up against the old disc.
According to the new range finder the distance was 126.3 yds.

Nice shooting!
That 4198 load sure looks good, and the RL7 ain't no slouch either.

Thanks guys, first time at any real distance and didn't know what to expect.
I rode back over there this afternoon and took some measurements.
The Hdy factory stuff.

The load that was awesome at 55.
Not bad, really, as Rick said.

And the surprise of the day. The above right hole was the fourth shot and I knew I pulled a little on it.
