Ruger Speed Six
I thought I posted this morning from my phone. Anyway, I went out to the range early so as to avoid the heat. I took my new (to me) Ruger Speed Six in .38 Special. This one has a three-inch barrel. I thought I did okay for the first outing. I took 200 rounds but only shot 100. I used Sierra 140 gr hollow point with 4.9 gr of True Blue powder.

Great shooting Jake. That Ruger looks like a fun gun and in 38 Spl. not too bad on the wallet. Enjoy!

You did more than okay. Nice work. I would love to find one of those shorter barreled Sixes and stainless would even be better. Really didn't know what I was missing until I found my Security 6 with the 6" barrel. Yeah, I'm a single action nut, but it's hard not to like those Ruger Six series DA revolvers.

Yep, those grips on the Ruger sixes just flow so nicely with the frame.
Great shooting with a classic.
