Today was supposed to be the best weather day of the next 8 days lower humidity and temps so it was grass cutting and some plinking down at my range.
Brought out my Ruger Blackhawk Flat Top 44 Special 6 shooter and the sweet shootin' Uberti 1873 .44 Mag Carbine for some fun. Setup at 12 yds. for the revolver and 25 yds for the 44 lever shooter. Same ammo for both being 240 gr. MB coated SWC loaded in 44 Special brass with 7 gr. of Unique.
A little rusty with the Ruger at the start but settle in for a couple groupings just a bit low from a standing position. Then had fun on the steel and the swinging plates from 15 yds holding at 12 o'clock.
Next pulled out that 1873 and a nice 4 or 5 shot group on the paper plate from 25 yds. Love shooting that thing whether Magnums or Specials!
Spring has sprung. Get out and shoot your Henry
