The Answer is 200 Degrees
if/when put some Irish potatoes on a grill and wonder how to know when they are done, monitor their internal temp .... in short the same way you do with steaks and other foods ... our new Davy Crockett Smoker/Grill has temperature sensor probe that allows you to monitor the internal temperature of whatever is being grilled .... I've been experimenting with baking "taters" and have learned that 200 degrees F is the answer .....

based on a PM'd question asking if the same is true for sweet taters .... I've not tested the temp but suspect it is .... the ones that I've grilled have been right beside the Irish taters for the same length of time .... my best guess would be that given the same temp for the same time the internal temp should be pretty much the same
