Some BP questions
Re: Some BP questions
I shoot a lot of flintlocks, and have never had any factory made rifle by any company that was as fast as a custom made lock. L&R locks make some replacements for a few factory made ones. The lock and how it is set up makes all the difference. All my flintlocks shoot fast enough so you can't feel any delay. There is some of course but noon that you feel. Choose you flintlock well.

Re: Some BP questions
Thanks. Not in the market for quite awhile if at all. I love my cap lock and have stocked up to the hilt on supplies. Maybe one day.

Re: Some BP questions
Agree with mirifle. I only have 2 flintlocks and thats all I want. I havent shot them much but need to. Learning curve on those takes some getting use to and patience is a key factor. One flint is a Lyman Great plains rifle with an L&R lock in it. The other is a custom built by John Bergmann 50cal. I havent even shot it yet but I need to. Just have to much fun with the Hawkens

Re: Some BP questions
RR, is it the Sport model or full size. We're looking hard at the full size 2-door with either 2.3L or 2.7L and 10 speed auto. How are you liking it?
Thanks RR; you're the first person to hear have one.

Re: Some BP questions
Bronco Sport Outer Banks version. Love it so far. 40 mpg. Stiff ride like a truck which is good. Solid. 18” wheels.
