Ive shot the full stock it shoots real good. Those 54 caliber balls really slap that steel around.

They are all extraordinary. Beautiful bunch of guns.

Here is probably my favorite Hawken built by John Bergmann. He is the one who has built all of the rifles I have shown since the start of this thread. Its a 54 caliber full stock and a fun rifle to shoot.

Hey Al how are the barrels finished and/or treated... some of yours looks like there's a bronze hue to them. Really impressive

Some have browned barrels, mine does. This was an experiment with a ladder sight last winter, went back to the original stock primitive buckhorn shortly after. Filed down the front sight and have been doing ok with it.

They are all browned KMB. No special treatment other than that.

I have some pistols and some Green River Rifle works Hawkens and Leman guns I can post also if you are interested. Thanks for all of the nice compliments

This BP stuff really interests me. Big gun meet is here in the Spring so I'll be saving my pennies.
