Question on New York gun forums please?

I read various forums from back east including some from New York.

Do any of you know any New York, New England and/or Mid Atlantic gun forums that do not have an affiliation with VERTICAL SCOPE?

I had not read NYF in some time and I checked out NY Firearms today. Apparently a company called VS aka Vertical Scope bought that forum not too long ago. VS apparently has been buying various forums from a to z.

Their parent company is supposed to be an anti gun one. Geeze Louise!

That LIST of forums is LONG! HOLY moly!

I can't believe how many GUN forums that have been bought up by VS. They already own and run many other types of forums too.

I know that VS was hacked because the news was on my internet search when I tried to figure out what VS meant.

There are other news websites that discuss this hacking.

I am going to check this out some more. I don't think that the BF forum (Knives and blades!) was bought out by them but I guess there were some BIG time changes made some time ago there before I started to post there according to some old gun people that I know/knew from the late 90's and on.

I was following the 'Safe Act' and other gun laws in other states as some of you may or may not remember. We have our own ANTI GUN battles to face here in THIS town with Bloomberg's HEAVY and $$$ influence, state and across the West. Anyway, I like to follow some of the .gov sites and a few gun and political forums and when I saw THIS today, I was kind of shocked to read it. I like to read other types of news and forums since I have many interests but right now my main interest is in what our Montana AG will do with what happened at our City Council meeting the other day.

NOTE : ownership of firearms related forums is a new and could easily be a very interesting thread topic .... unfortunately, it is a topic that can and most likely would drift into the area of politics .... please keep responses within the forum's prohibition of political commentary

As far as I know DWF is owed by Jody who lives in Va. Admin. by Steve in Ct.
I don't do facebook, twiiter, just some email and 2 forums about guns and such !!
As far as laws state to state, I'll leave it alone. All i know is in Ohio I can carry a hand gun concealed or open carry
