Wow, if we could entice half of these folk to join our dialogue, we would double our interest. Come on, join in the fun.

I cannot tell you how much I have learned from the good people here. What an education!

We are all an understanding and tolerant bunch. You will not be put down or made to feel bad.

We subscribe to the 'no stupid question ' theory.

Please, be a part of a great educational and friendly discussion.

Absolutely right. As opposed to some other firearms forums (or MOST), this is the most sane place on the planet.

We're really knowledgeable but completely harmless, which is a great combination for newcomers!

36 joined in the past 8 days. May have to revise my guess date for 2000 members if I can find that post topic.

Interesting, yet not surprising how that works. Hope most, if not all stay here to benefit from a great forum! Givaways or not, I'm not going anywhere! :D I was enticed from the day I joined by the warm welcome I received!

I know I've burned some bandwidth with a question (or two or ten!) that I should have thought about first, but no one ever blinked.

It's a culture thing...

One of my concerns as I scan through the "PLease enter me in the sweepstakes" posts is that many of them are from members' first post (or second or third), but, if I understand the rules correctly, a member needs to have 10 posts before entering. Seems like these new members may be thinking they'll get to 10 posts by the time the drawing takes place, but I don't know if that's how it works...

Fore or aft the entry request I think, is Evans point. Dunno.
