Been a while

Post by Cofisher » Sat Jul 26, 2025 2:14 pm

Since losing my shooting buddy, it has been hard to get motivated. I hope the cooler Temps this fall will help get my grandkids join me for some shooting.

Its been hard to think of Matt's loss. I know some of you have been there.
Life goes on, just not the same.

I'll try to get back to it. I love the life of a shooter. I've been thinking of downsizing the armory. I'll definitely keep my Henry.

Don't see any real need for the black scary guns. I will forward them to the kids. Not sure I'll give up my Grendel. My first build, and a sweet rifle.

Peace to you all. Jim

Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

My wife died in my arms, in our bedroom, eight years ago this week. We had been together since 1967. This is the first year that I didn't begin that anniversary in tears and it's the first year that I actually feel like moving forward with my life. A broken heart can be one of the hardest to heal. You have my sympathy.

Peace be with you, Jim.
