Hello,
I’m just curious if there are any Hunter Safety Instructors here. I enjoy training people, it’s wonderful to see husband’s and wife’s learning together. We do a lot of hands on, survival techniques, fire starting map and compass. It’s interesting in the fact that went it went available online everyone figured actual training in person would go down hill. It was more online for a few years but now the last couple of years it’s evened out to 50/50. We are also seeing more people participating than before and they are younger individuals.

Thought I’d share my perspective

Grateful for what you do. Of my time in LE, I spent about eighteen months with Fish and Game dispatching after I left Patrol, until I went to State Police in Firearms... Then Criminal Records. I saw the accident reports the Wardens filed for Boating, Fishing, and Hunting accidents.

Sheesh.

Most were easily preventable.

I'm glad to see there is interest still from the younger people. It's a great thing that you do, teaching those good lessons.
