This is my first year hunting, and it was a success! I hunted and harvested morel mushrooms! Here's my bounty!

sure hope you got good ones .... I wouldn't trust any that I picked ..

We don't have those up here in the north country, but hunting morels was a big deal when I lived in Nebraska and the Dakotas. Congrats and enjoy.

Mark the location and don't tell anyone where it is. They'll be there again and again. Congratulations.

Sautéed some today. Goo with meat and eggs. My son provides them. From the Loup River. Central Nebraska. Love em.

Tried that some here. Very competitive. Would have been a good spring for our mud chantrels.

Not educated enough to harvest them myself, so I don't.
Do not want to die by my own hand.

Morels are the safest mushrooms to pick and the only ones I feels confident enough to eat Very distinctive and hard to mistake. Just make sure they look healthy and not distorted, don't want a false morel. They sell for big money around here.
