Biggest black bears on the planet.

The Coastal North Carolina black bears are the biggest on Earth.
Thinking about hunting there for a few days next year. See if I can get one with my 44 Mag.
Anyone hunted bears in NC?

I used to hunt bears years ago in the Western North Carolina mountains. Still lots of them here as are seen almost every time we go to our cabin. it is located on the mountain where I used to hunt.
One of our club members still hunts the NC coast and once got an 800 lb. one out there. Your 44 mag. is the perfect gun, as I'm sure you know. I would say, give the coastal bears a try if you get the opportunity. I would.

800 pounds…that’s a lotta bear. Yikes!
