With the green are you going to call it a Zombie shooter? Seriously tell us about the ammo you use and the distances its accurate at. As a backpacker and hiker I would be interested in taking one along.

I didn't like the look of the leather , plus I can see nocking the arrow better without the leather . It should also increase the FPS of the arrow . Since it will be a arrow shooter only the leather is not needed . If I was a backpacker I would leave the leather on make the arrow rest fold down or remove with 1 screw fast like mine so I could shoot round lead balls .

Remember weight is a factor. How would picking up pebbles work for ammo?

If I was going to shoot both arrow and round ball type ammo I would make the arrow rest to where it folds down . Then remove nocks from the arrows and glue golf tee in there place arrow so it will feel like a ball you are pulling back and leave the stock leather pull . I'm trying build a accurate top of the line arrow only slingshot . I think I can make it as accurate as a compound bow at 25 yds .

How accurate is accurate? I had a sling-shot as a kid and couldn't hit anything with it.
