Just bought a Daystate Huntsman Revere Regulated .25
This is an Airguns of Arizona "We the Plinkers" special. Great savings if you are at all interested in one of the two guns.

$40 shipping, NO Washington sales tax! I am stoked. I found a Daystate in a pawn shop in about 2002, which included a big Omega CF bottle, for $1200. I foolishly resold both a few years later, I got $2400 for the gun and $250 for the bottle. I have missed a Daystate ever since. There is one on GB JUST like that one, in .177, listed for $3500.

I am not familiar with the included scope or mounts, or the silencer. I already have a Hatsan Bullboss .25, that is an ugly heavy brute that I can't stand to look at, but it shoots well at short distances. This Daystate can do minute of angle at 100 yards. It has a Hill regulator with an output pressure gauge hidden under the forearm. I LOVE the side cock lever! Can someone comment on the parts? I am stoked!

FYI, I was told by a customer rep that this deal will not last much longer!
Thanks.

Congrats, John. I have the same gun, not the package, but I did get the silencer option when I ordered mine. Mine is in 177. And, yeah the accuracy claim is totally legit. Mine has done a third of an inch at 50 yards many times. Mine is a 13 shot in 177. Yes, these are repeaters with a wonderfully smooth side lever action.

Here is a great video for the .22 version. The guy works at Airguns of AZ and he shoots countless guns, it really impressed me how blown away he was.

I sure hope it comes with a plain box surrounding that very pretty one. Can we see some closeup pics of the wood?

Re: Just bought a Daystate Huntsman Revere Regulated .25
Depends on caliber and pellet weight, just read some test reviews for which caliber you prefer. Also the regulator can be cranked up if you want more speed and are OK with a smaller shot count. I expect the .25 model to give about 800-850 fps (40 ft lbs) with heavy 28 gr pellets. That is what my Hatsan Bullboss does, it's specs are similar, tho it has a longer barrel and 200 bar pressure instead of 250 bar for the Daystate (I installed a Huma regulator) though the guns look like they were born in different galaxies. My tuned Hatsan gets about 20 shots with just 3 fps deviation before the velocity droops.

Re: Just bought a Daystate Huntsman Revere Regulated .25
Mine shoots around 850 with the 10 plus grain pellets I like to shoot or closer to 900 with the more typical 8.6 grain 177 pellets.
Most PCPs that shoot standard wasp waist (diablo) pellets are designed to shoot in that 850-900 fps range, no matter what caliber or pellet weight, because that is the sweet spot for accuracy in long distance shooting with this type of pellet. Diablo pellets start to de-stabilize when you push them much beyond this velocity. Yeah, you can push velocity and get more fps and a flatter trajectory by modding a PCP to go beyond this fps range, but the loss of accuracy can be pretty severe. That's why in Field Target competition with shots all the way out past 50 yards, you won't see anyone competing with "magnum" 1000 fps plus guns. They are all tuned to stay in that 850-900 fps range with the given pellet a competitor is using.
In air guns, if you want more fpe, the way to get it is to bump up in caliber to get more pellet weight in that 850-900 fps sweet spot the way John did. That's one of the plusses for going PCP in the large calibers/heavy pellets. It's by far the best platform for getting the large, heavy pellets into that 850-900 fps range.
