our home used to be out in the country .... where we live is still out of any city limits, we sure ain't out in the country .... literally tens of thousands of homes have been/are being built within a mile of our driveway .... forest have been leveled .... we still have a considerable wildlife population but they are steadily losing habitat .... the pictures below growing piles of deer feces between our vehicles which are parked within a few feet of our home .... once our weather settles down, I hope to put a trail camera out there

I love having critters around. Except for the nuisance ones, lol.

I have several fruit trees in my front yard and each year for the last decade or so they have fed friends, deer, squirrels, birds, and other critters. I once found its scat, but didn't see the bear that left it.

This is a snapshot out of my LR window taken a few weeks ago. The Doe has been coming here for a long time. This was the first time I saw Bambi.

Jim, when I read the title of your post I thought you smacked one with your new truck. Glad that didn’t happen. We get a critter or two in our yard too.

I haven't seen any deer since ole Copper (out dog) came. I see where they slept and pooped because he shows me when we walk in the pasture for his exercise and bathroom needs. We came face to face with three of them up at camp on an evening walk. I thought he would go nuts, he just watched. He's more interested in squirrels and rabbits.

I'm hoping to see more deer during NY's hunting season, lol :D  8-)

over the years 2 deer have hit a vehicle I was driving .... notice, they hit me, I didn't hit them .. :!: :!: .. that could certainly happen most any time but I sure hope it doesn't :? :?
