I should have taken pictures.
Last evening we attended a "Wine Tasting Dinner" with a younger couple we met a couple of years ago.
When I say younger, I mean about 20 years younger, but we just seem to hit it off.
Anyway:
The dinner was just want the name implies.

The first course was a very good Seafood Chowder with a white wine.
The second course was excellent braised short ribs with a couple of reds.
The desert a chocolate cake with another white.
I am not a wine connoisseur, but my Wife is. She makes her own and has extensive knowledge of wines.
I usually drink beer but she did purchase a bottle of the white that I liked to bring home.
The dinner was excellent, the wine was fine with me, and the company was warm and friendly.
I had a good time. Burp!

Tonight it was a Miller High Life and smoked salmon spread on crackers along with cherry tomatoes and Jalapeño olives.
The smoke salmon came out really tasty.

I hate it when I do that.
Been there done it.
My buddy Eric yesterday.
My s-n-l killed 2 does yesterday morning over in SC, he sent me a pic., I shared with Eric.
He called me just a little bit ago, and says. I saw the pic and typed Cool.
But never hit the send button. was looking at his phone this morning before he realized he hadn't sent it.
