That's a great find, Dave. Congrats. I'm familiar with the gun and have also owned a Weatherby Orion made by SKB, my favorite OU of all time back when I was still bird hunting. Later, I also owned an SKB OU when SKB was selling guns here in the U.S. under their own name. I'd rate SKB right there with Miroku who makes the Citori for Browning. Top notch guns. Real shame when SKB folded. Anyway, enjoy the Ithaca.

It seems that 20 gauge double is the go to shotgun as we get older. I've coveted an OU 20 for years. Havent had the right incentive to 'pull' the trigger. Am also a big fan of Ithaca firearms. Nice pickup , Dave.

That’s an excellent find. Japan has been building some very fine shotguns for years now. I do believe they got it right. Enjoy.

Fine looking shotgun and I like the 20 gauge nowadays. Good find.

Very nice! I like that it's in great shape with a little character so you don't fret when the first nick or scratch happens.
Ithaca can't be too far from you either, so there's that too.

Nice looking shotgun. I too like that it has personality from what looks to be good use but not abuse.

I have it's bigger 12 ga brother. The "blued" barrels etc. are really black chrome so be careful what type of solvent you clean it with. The 200 model was the same except it has ejectors.

What solvent is ok for the black chrome? I don't think I've ever heard of that.
