At the range earlier this week I experienced some uncomfortable recoil with my 300 Blackout AR. I have fired this gun dozens of times earlier and don’t recall any uncomfortable recoil. But my earlier shooting was in cold weather with more layers on and on this trip I was shooting some pretty hot loads in just a tee shirt. And I had just fired 100 12ga target loads a few days before. I started looking at aftermarket stocks with a recoil pad on them and ran across this Limbsaver slip on pad designed for the AR stock. It just slips on a military style stock and is anchored on both sides, top and bottom. I don’t think there is any way it will come off during typical use. I’m thinking it will make shooting those hot loads more pleasant. Yeah, I can shoot a reduced load but these have been the most accurate loads I’ve found. (Thanks BigAl)
I looked for one locally but had to go to Amazon as none were available around town.
Spring has sprung. Get out and shoot your Henry
